David L. Wender, CPA,
David's experience in public accounting started in 1972 and he
received his CPA license in January of 1975. He started his
career with Seidman & Seidman (now BDO Seidman) in their
Thousand Oaks office. He later worked out of their Sherman Oaks
and Beverly Hills offices.
David's work experience with Seidman included audits of major
public and private companies as well as audits of nonprofit
organizations and governmental entities. Additionally, he
gained experience providing tax and financial services to
individuals and businesses. He started his own CPA business in
December of 1977 in Thousand Oaks and continues to provide
accounting and consulting services to small and medium size
businesses. David also provides audit and consulting services
to governmental and major nonprofit organizations.
David graduated from Cal State University, Northridge in 1972
and obtained an additional degree in personal financial
planning in 1985 through UCLA's university extension program.
He continues to obtain additional licenses to enhance his
personal financial planning services. David obtained his
Life Insurance License (0D49377) during 2001.
David is honored to have served as a board member, president
and treasurer of various nonprofit organizations. He has helped
his church and other nonprofits with their campaigns. He was a
treasurer with the local food bank, worked with the local YMCA,
and the Thousand Oaks Rotary Club where he has been a member

sons' sports teams.
John E. McLaine, a former CPA now
John has retired from our company and from public accounting
effective October 31, 2005. John is now
spending time on his hobbies and traveling. He
wishes all of his former clients well.
