Per-diem and seasonal employment is available where appropriate. We have needs for accountants, CPA’s and EA’s for our growing practice. We would entertain discussions with CPA’s with a book of business.
We hire dependable, motivated, self-directed, organized and detailed individuals who are willing to learn and be responsive to client needs. You should have good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel.
Ability to set-up a company in accounting software, do payroll processing, after-the-fact payroll reports, check writing, accounts receivable and payable, journal entries, bank reconciliation and financial statement preparation.
Ability to prepare county property tax forms, sales tax reports, and other tax schedules or worksheets.
Ability to prepare all types of tax returns including: Individual, Corporate, Partnership, Non-profit, Trust, Gift and Benefit plan. You should be able to review and respond to client and tax authority questions or audits. The ability to do tax research is beneficial and we will train you in this area. You should be capable of making decisions and preparing depreciation schedules from client data.
Knowledge and experience with the following software used in our office is helpful: Quickbooks by Intuit, Lacerte for all tax preparation, Creative Solutions accounting, and depreciation, Checkpoint by Thompson/PPC for tax research, CFS for payroll and sales tax, MS Word and Excel and other programs.
